I agree that "The Secret" was incredible but this absolutely waste of money. The worst book I have ever read in my life.

This is just a journal for writing down thoughts of graditude daily. It's not a book. It begins with an introduction by Byrnes with all her pseudoscience of how positive energy aligns with quantum physics and how writing gratitude thoughts each day will help align with the positive universe.
The inspirational messages inside and hardback cover are a nice touch. It's a good quality This is just a journal for writing down thoughts of graditude daily.
It's a good quality book regardless, but I really recommend you spending your money elsewhere.
I just use my library book sale copy as an extra fancy journal. Jun 08, Gloria Ng rated it really liked it Shelves: Got this as a gift and guess what?
It's still on my bookshelf--unused and gathering dust. I find that I often feel gratitude when I am away from the book and would rather keep an electronic file going. That way, it stays out of my kids' hands and have no chance of ever being misplaced or torn or bitten or.
However, my first experience of a gratitude journal came from an energy healer with whom I apprenticed. I would never forget it, because it was twenty-eight days of changing your brain Got this as a gift and guess what? I would never forget it, because it was twenty-eight days of changing your brain waves, your psychological chemistry, to presence gratitude in your life.
I need more reminders so I can keep from throwing tantrums as huge as the ones my kids throw! The practice of gratitude is beyond 5-star, though! I highly recommend that as a daily practice!

You are better off getting a page out of your 'usual' journal and writing it all in there! Seems like a money-making scheme this book, when you could just write it in one of your own journals.

This one book that will turn from a life of purposeless ness to a life full of joy and peace.

But the diretor and his staff decided that the plot would be presented in a particular way, from certain images, and not in another.
In what ways memory, romance, subjectivity, desire, emptiness are not only narrated but also shown in order to produce in viewer feelings and emotions related to plot and events? Of all the artistic and stylistic elements that make up the work, we chose one of the most unexpected and less considered by scholarly analysis.
More than costumes, hair and makeup, our analysis deals with the images mood. By limits of space, we are going to deal only with images that, in our view, speak of passion and existence emptiness. Henri Bergson , in Matter and Memory, shows us the deep and irresistible relation that occurs between memory and image: Irene, dressed in a wool suit with silk neckerchief and a lovely beret on his head, is a breathtaking vision for him.
The use of red shades by Irene is remarkable: When young, Irene wears bright red tending to orange, but also pink, red and white checked, shirts with reddish prints, woolen jackets and red scarves around his neck. She is not only passion, but competence and professional integrity. Or perhaps we could say that Irene is all passion, giving herself to her work with responsibility and dedication. Benjamin, a little shocked, question Sandoval how can he think of a joke so quickly: Benjamin rips the sheet and looks for another story beginning.
He suffers in contemplating the contrast between hurt body and innocent photos of the young couple, and he imagines the deep sorrow the husband is going to suffer. That naked body is not only naked, but dehumanized. Civilization does not inhabits it anymore; he was violently pulled from the human world in which he used to live and was left exposed, arrogantly, in order that everyone could witness the contempt the killer had for him.
The vision of the body is chocking enough to justify the impact it has on Benjamin throughout his life. During a brief discussion in which Irene and Benjamin disagree about how to conduct the judicial examination of Isidoro, Benjamin pulls her by the shoulder and inadvertently opens the top button of her white shirt.
Benjamin enters a room and starts to question Isidoro alone. Isidoro, in turn, seems to know very well how to get rid of suspicion that falls on him.
The deeply disrespect for a female body, made explicit by the look Isidoro does not try to avoid, creates in Irene the conviction that this man would be able to rape and kill a woman.
She teases him mocking his manhood and he ends up confessing having committed the crime against Liliana.
