After choosing your mistake, you are to find ten blessings that you are grateful for as a result of making that mistake. One of the blessings that I am grateful for due to my ED is the amount of knowledge that I now possess to help others! I found it really interesting over the amount of things I have to be grateful for due to my ED.
I definitely have more than I think you will be surprised after you are done. Your mistake may not seem like a mistake anymore! It relates with so many posts that I have written in the past; especially this one. Try this! Its wonderful and makes you feel on top of the world! You can even take this practice one step further by saying three things that you love about yourself after saying thank you!
This practice is a phenomenal practice for anyone; however, it will be especially beneficial to those suffering from negative body image or low self esteem. After completing my 28 day journey, I can honestly say that I feel more grateful for life and all of the things that I have been blessed with.
For the moment I open my eyes in the morning, for the moment my feet touch the floor when I step out of my bed, for the blessing of my warm bed to sleep in, and for the blessing of my parents who say I love you each and every morning. There is so much to be grateful for and the journey that The Magic took me on definitely made the little things seem more prominent and meaningful. Recently, Ive noticed that when I go for walks outside with my Mom I comment on how beautiful it smells or how pretty the flowers in our window boxes look.
The Magic helped guide me to a place where I dont have to consciously notice these little things and take time to appreciate them. It comes so naturally now. When battling my ED, it was a huge challenge for me to live in the present and appreciate the moment I was in at any particular time. I was always thinking. Thinking or worrying or stressing about something. Never living.
My mind was constantly thinking and occupied with distorted thoughts. A refrigerator. A car that runs. A house with room for all. This computer I type at. The information well that is the internet. My eyes, my hands, my ears. My family.
A better job prospect and new opportunities that I had never before thought possible. Every single day, I give thanks for these blessings and more. And you know what? I do feel better. And things are looking up. Or at least, I am. View 1 comment. Mar 06, A. Shaw rated it it was amazing Shelves: I very much subscribe to this stuff.
I like it a lot, and it has completely changed my life. That's the disclaimer here. If it's not your thing and you've tried The Secret or The Power then this is more than likely to inspire the same feelings those gave you. However, if, like me, you've read those and gained plenty from them, but found yourself sliding into the less positive in recent times, then The Magic, essentially a much more straightforward, plain-speaking, less mystic, more direct instru I very much subscribe to this stuff.

Contained within: Thing is, it's 28 days. Do it, and if it doesn't do anything for you, then it's no more than a bit of 28 days you've lost.
I have absolute confidence in the things within as being things that will enhance and remind me of all the wonder and, indeed, magic of life. These books have not just got me through all manner of tough circumstances, but they've given me many, many tools to brighten up literally everything around my life.
Truly, I am happier for these books. I am excited to have what, on first reading, very much feels like either a starter or refresher course, as applicable, in the methods and attitudes expressed in Rhonda Byrne's other books, and I am, heh, grateful for its existence.
Recommended to download if you liked the previous books, and to try if you haven't experienced either and have an open and willing mind to change some things.

This book gave you the secrets on how to "improve" your life in 28 days. If you want this magic to work, surely you should read this book slowly and read each sentence until you understand what does it mean.
I am absolutely stunned on how much gratitude can bring to you. I've completed the book and i still continue to put gratitude in each day i live. It's wonderful.
Apr 10, Louise Cusack rated it it was amazing Shelves: My favourite of Rhonda Byrne's books so far. Easy to read and apply, and so profound. This book has literally changed the way I live my life. So very grateful to her for writing it!
Mar 08, Sunny Sodday rated it liked it. Rhonda Byrne's first book 'The Secret' was one of the life changing books I've read in my entire lifetime so far.
And my expectations from 'The Magic' was huge.
The book is mainly about the attitude of gratitude and sadly it is only about that. The book's language is very simple and very impactful and I totally agree with the concept.
I think this is great read of you haven't read 'The Secret. The idea is good but elonga Rhonda Byrne's first book 'The Secret' was one of the life changing books I've read in my entire lifetime so far. The idea is good but elongated.
Apr 07, Michele Harrod rated it liked it. I loved 'The Secret' movie when it first came out, and I do believe we all have the power to manifest our life and are in fact doing so every minute of the day, whether we are conscious of the fact, or not. So this is a good reminder to do it consciously. This book is all about Gratitude - and offers 28 daily practices to ingrain gratitude into your thinking. And that can't be bad for anyone!!

In this day and age, when people seem to spend more time focussing on what they don't have, than appreciating what they do, it's probably an excellent starting point. And if that leads them to really understand the power of their own hearts, then that is even better. The theory is, like attracts like, so while you spend your time being grateful for the good things in your life, even if they are just some tiny things to start with and yes, even the worst off have plenty to be thankful for , those good things will grow, and by the end of it, you shouldn't have any time for anything but being grateful for the abundance in your life.
There you go, that sums up the book. I'm grateful it was a quick and easy read. My life is amazing, and I never want to take that for granted, so The Magic was a wonderful wakeup call not to. I know this stuff, it's Quantum Physics But like all knowledge, unless we are practising it, it is completely redundant.
So every now and then you need a bit of to get the juices flowing again. This did for me. And I am esepcially grateful for being reminded to do so! Mar 25, Sarah marked it as to-read. I can deal with that: Mar 31, Nikki Naddy rated it it was amazing Shelves: Gibt Hoffnung und Mut, wieder an sich zu glauben. Jun 01, Farah rated it really liked it. This book is a blessing. I do admit the practices are very concentrated and are a little time-consuming, but in the end, it made my heart feel as light as a feather.
This book just added to the amount of gratitude I practice daily. The book offers quotes, lessons, tips, and facts all concerning gratitude. Any problem's solution is gratitude; it's true. It just makes me see how I am infinitely blessed and I take it all for granted. This books goes so deep you're going to end being thankful for th This book is a blessing. This books goes so deep you're going to end being thankful for the air you breathe The initial practice that continues for the rest of the book is to list ten things you're thankful for in the morning.
I firstly named the obvious: But then finding more was a challenge. It really made me focus into thanking the things I never appreciated before: Thanking what was out of my control helped me accept what was to come in the near future. I am a thankful soul. I pray every day for a better tomorrow knowing the day I lived was more than okay.
I'm happy I pulled this book, specifically, out of my library, thinking it was going to be a quick read.
Thank you, thank you, thank you, for everything the way it is. Aug 24, Ding Ong rated it it was ok.
Well, one word sums up this book. However, this author managed to write an entire book on this seemingly simple word. It does get repetitive after a few chapters as it explores the same value over and over again while reiterating its importance. Its written as a 'guidebook' in which over 28 days of practising gratitude can change your life.
Well, it seemed rather absurd as i was reading it. It appears to be more of self-denial from my point of view. Still i believe strongly in gratitude Well, one word sums up this book. Still i believe strongly in gratitude and being grateful, hence i did not chuck this book aside despite finding it rather unbelievable.
It is not a book that people would really want to read but i find that many people NEED to read it. Not reading it as in taking the whole book seriously but using it as a reminder. This book came at the right time. It served as a good reminder that we should live life with gratitude. Not because it can grant direct material gains as the book insists but rather for making our lives more enjoyable.
Take things for granted and you won't appreciate them. Sep 27, Ola rated it it was amazing. May 21, hellee. Mar 27, Thomas rated it it was amazing. So after seeing many of the reviews here. Aug 11, Renee Amberg rated it did not like it. This is such a shame to write. If you are looking for an in depth gratitude journal, this book is for you. If you are looking for a 28 day life changing journey as stated on the back of the book , don't waste your time. This was extremely hard for me to get through, I almost didn't finish.
The writing was written in 'hokey' language that was very repetitive and cheesy. She then suggests on a daily basis every morning listing ten things we're grateful for our Top Ten , and then writing down why we're grateful for them! Thinking about why we're grateful for something really helps to focus our mind and experience real gratitude.
Rhonda also suggests we use a Gratitude Rock. This could be a smooth pebble or stone that you can hold in the palm of your hand. Keep it by your bedside and every night think of something that has happened that day that you're the most grateful for - hold the Gratitude Rock in your palm and give thanks for whatever it is you're thinking of. These daily acts of gratitude help our positive thoughts build up into a permanent uplifting and happy vibe, cultivating this amazing thankful attitude on a daily basis is well worth thinking about!
Each day as well as writing down our Top Ten at the start of each day, and using the Gratitude Rock in the evening before we go to sleep at night, we get to practice a separate daily Gratitude.
